Nick Davis is a writer, direc­tor, and pro­duc­er. His book Com­pet­ing With Idiots: Her­man and Joe Mankiewicz: A Dual Por­trait, was recent­ly pub­lished by Knopf, and his film about the 1986 Mets, Once Upon a Time in Queens, recent­ly aired on ESPN and is now avail­able on stream­ing plat­forms. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
