Read On is a speak­ers’ bureau for authors who have pre­vi­ous­ly par­tic­i­pat­ed with JBC Net­work and whose book has a copy­right date ineleg­i­ble for the cur­rent JBC Net­work sea­son. Unlike JBC Net­work, authors who are part of Read On receive an honorarium.

Read On is a pro­gram for authors who have pre­vi­ous­ly par­tic­i­pat­ed in the JBC Net­work and whose book has a copy­right date inel­i­gi­ble for the cur­rent JBC Net­work sea­son. Unlike JBC Net­work, authors who par­tic­i­pate in Read On receive an hon­o­rar­i­um for speak­ing (in addi­tion to hav­ing trav­el and lodg­ing expens­es cov­ered). Read On authors will receive expo­sure on the Jew­ish Book Coun­cil web­site, a list dis­trib­uted to our Net­work sites and have a book sale and sign­ing at all Read On events.

Through Read On, event coor­di­na­tors can choose from a vast list of authors who have pre­vi­ous­ly par­tic­i­pat­ed with JBC Net­work. The pro­gram site must pay an hon­o­rar­i­um, which varies from author to author, in addi­tion to trav­el and lodg­ing expens­es, and must host a book sale and sign­ing. JBC Net­work mem­ber sites get to book Read On authors for a dis­count­ed rate. To book an author, please email suzanne@​jewishbooks.​org.
