Leslie Epstein is an award-win­ning author who has writ­ten eleven oth­er books of fic­tion, includ­ing the cel­e­brat­ed nov­els San Remo Dri­ve and King of the Jews. He teach­es at Boston Uni­ver­si­ty, where he direct­ed the Cre­ative Writ­ing Pro­gram for thir­ty-six years.
