Daniela Weil grew up in Brazil. She always had a passion for art and nature, and studied biology at Brandeis University. After working with whales, Daniela moved to Houston to make 3D animations for science. Daniela became a full-time children’s writer and illustrator after adopting her daughter Lucy.
