Inspired by this expe­ri­ence, Bill changed his career focus from pros­e­cu­tion and found­ed SSAM Alter­na­tive Dis­pute Res­o­lu­tion and co-authored 9/12: The Epic Bat­tle of the Ground Zero Respon­ders to tell the respon­ders’ sto­ry of extra­or­di­nary selflessness.
