Rosen­thal, Ed.D, Pro­fes­sor Emer­i­tus Michi­gan State Uni­ver­si­ty, has sold shoes, dug ditch­es, worked in a trac­tor fac­to­ry, failed as a pre-med stu­dent, hiked the Grand Canyon, flown Grum­man Cougars (f9f‑8) as a Naval Avi­a­tor. He lives in East Lans­ing with his wife, two dogs, and a parrot.
