Susan Rubin Suleiman had a long and distinguished career as a professor of French and comparative literature at Harvard. Her books include The Némirovsky Question (2016), Crises of Memory and the Second World War (2006), and Budapest Diary (1996). She has won many honors, including France’s highest, the Légion d’Honneur. A mother and grandmother, she lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
