Dr. Adelman is a retired pediatric surgeon, an artist, silversmith, editor and author of three books. She lives in Michigan, married to a law professor. She was the first woman president of local and state medical societies and past AMA trustee. Her travels have taken her all around the world. She speaks five languages, including Arabic and Hebrew.
