His work has appeared in Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, The Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, The New York Times, The London Times, Smithsonian, Vogue, and The Washington Post. He is a 20-year veteran of Time Inc., and taught at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
