Simi Mon­heit lives, writes and hikes in North­ern Cal­i­for­nia. She has a master’s degree in Com­put­er Sci­ence and an under­grad­u­ate degree in Eng­lish. She grew up in Brook­lyn, New York, a first-gen­er­a­tion daugh­ter of Holo­caust sur­vivors, and attend­ed reli­gious Hebrew Day Schools. Her work has appeared in var­i­ous Jew­ish and sec­u­lar pub­li­ca­tions, includ­ing Jew​ish​Fic​tion​.net, The For­ward, Moment and Lilith.
