Rina Z. Neiman is a writer, event producer and public relations professional. She has lived in Boston, San Francisco, Israel, London and Rome. Born Under Fire is based on her mother, Shula Dubno Neiman, a Sabra and one of the first generation of modern-day Israelis. Rina lives in Marin County with her husband and son.
