Jewish Book Council seeks a highly motivated full-time development coordinator who will support Jewish Book Council’s development infrastructure, campaigns, and growth.

A Manhattan-based nonprofit, JBC is situated at the intersection of the Jewish community and the publishing world. JBC has promoted Jewish-interest literature through its foundational program, Jewish Book Month, since 1925, and has added programs such as the National Jewish Book Awards, Natan Notable Books, JBC Network author tours, book reviews, author seminars, book club resources, a literary journal, Paper Brigade, and more over the following decades to meet the needs of an ever-changing Jewish and publishing landscape.

JBC consists of a small, dedicated team; we enjoy working together and pitching in to support each other. We are looking for an enthusiastic new member who thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about literature, publishing, and the ways in which Jewish literature can be an exciting access point to Jewish life, identity, and culture.
