Celebrate Jewish Book Month with #30days30authors! In honor of the 90th anniversary of Fanny Goldstein’s tribute to Jewish books in the West End’s branch of the Boston Public Library, Jewish Book Council invited 30 leading authors, one for each day of the month, to answer a few questions.
Abigail Pogrebin recently completed her year-long series, “18 Holidays: One Wondering Jew” for The Forward. She is a former producer for Ed Bradley and Mike Wallace at 60 Minutes and the author of three books, Stars of David, One and the Same, and Showstopper. She has written for many publications including Newsweek, New York Magazine, The Daily Beast, and Tablet, and moderates a regular interview series at The JCC in Manhattan.
Abigail Pogrebin is the author of My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew which was a finalist for a 2017 JBC National Jewish Book Award and Stars of David: Prominent Jews Talk About Being Jewish. She has written for The Atlantic, The Forward, and Tablet, and moderates conversations for The Streicker Center and Jewish Broadcasting Service.
