Nathan Szajnberg, MD was born in a German DP camp, attended the University of Chicago college and medical school, and most recently was the Sigmund Freud Professor of Psychoanalysis at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has written several books on development and two novellas. He has been awarded two NIMH grants and the Ticho Award, and was the Wallerstein Research Fellow in Psychoanalysis 2005 – 16.
