lse Weber (1903 – 1944) was a notable Jewish poet. From 1933 onward she and her family were persecuted by the Nazis and in 1942 deported to the Theresienstadt Ghetto. Michal Schwartz Ph.D. studied literature and philosophy in Frankfurt and Jerusalem and taught Kabbalah and Jewish literature. Her book on the philosophy of Franz Rosenzweig appeared in Berlin in 2003.
