Michael S. Lewis, M.D. is an award-win­ning author who has pub­lished sev­en books. He is a for­mer ortho­pe­dic con­sul­tant to the Chica­go White Sox and Chica­go Bulls, with whom he won two cham­pi­onship rings. He received a best teacher award from Chicago’s Rush Uni­ver­si­ty Med­ical Col­lege. His pho­tographs have been pub­lished in sev­er­al books and mag­a­zines. He has lec­tured nation­al­ly and internationally.
