Lori Dub­bin is a writer and for­mer ear­ly child­hood edu­ca­tor. She enjoys research­ing and writ­ing about peo­ple just out­side the frame­work of his­to­ry who have made extra­or­di­nary con­tri­bu­tions to the world and who mod­el kind­ness and per­sis­tence for young read­ers. When Lori isn’t research­ing or writ­ing, she likes tak­ing walks, solv­ing cross­word puz­zles, and bak­ing oat­meal cook­ies for her family.
