Lisa Green is a lawyer and legal ana­lyst, appear­ing on NBC News and MSNBC. While attend­ing law school, Lisa worked as a reporter and colum­nist for The Nation­al Law Jour­nal, after which Lisa prac­ticed law in New York, lit­i­gat­ing cas­es involv­ing secu­ri­ties fraud, employ­ment law, First Amend­ment, new media, and copy­right claims before join­ing NBC News — first as a lawyer and then a senior pro­duc­er and on-air ana­lyst. She cur­rent­ly serves as com­mu­ni­ca­tions direc­tor for a major New York law firm and is the moth­er of two young adults.
