Kent was the U.S. Attorney in Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics. He spent hundreds of hours working with the FBI to find the bomber, and ultimately wrote and hand-delivered Richard Jewell’s clearance letter. He has worked as general counsel of Emory University and CARE, and as a King & Spalding law partner. Currently, Kent is president of The Temple in Atlanta.
