Preparing for most of his life to write historical fiction, Jeff Lefkowitz earned a history degree, Phi Beta Kappa, at the University of Texas and taught writing to law students. He detoured temporarily by practicing law for 30 years. Fueled by a passion for Jewish education, he created and teaches an extracurricular Jewish history course for high school students.
