Janet Singer Applefield holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University. Working with the non-profit, Facing History and Ourselves, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, she speaks to 4,000 students a year about her experiences during the Holocaust and the importance of standing up to bigotry and hate.
