Jane S. Gabin is a teacher and col­lege coun­selor with a PhD in Eng­lish from the Uni­ver­si­ty of North Car­oli­na at Chapel Hill. She has pre­sent­ed papers at aca­d­e­m­ic con­fer­ences in the US, Cana­da, UK, and France. She has lec­tured at schools and libraries across the US. Jane Gabin plays accor­dion and bass vio­lin, and she is active in her syn­a­gogue, as well as being a life mem­ber of Hadassah.
