Greg Daw­son is author of Hid­ing in the Spot­light, the sto­ry of his moth­er’s mirac­u­lous escape from the Holo­caust in Ukraine. Daw­son has been a jour­nal­ist for 45 years, work­ing at five news­pa­pers includ­ing the Boston Her­ald and The Orlan­do Sen­tinel where he is a reporter and colum­nist. He and his wife, Can­dy, a writer and film­mak­er, have two grown chil­dren and a dog name Pepsi.
