Gidi Grin­stein is the Founder and Pres­i­dent of The Reut Insti­tute, a non-par­ti­san, non-prof­it pol­i­cy-group based in Tel-Aviv. Gidi served as the Sec­re­tary and Coor­di­na­tor of the Israeli nego­ti­a­tion team between Israel and the PLO in the Office and lat­er the Bureau of Prime Min­is­ter Ehud Barak (1999 – 01).He served as an econ­o­mist in the Israeli Navy (1991−95) and holds the rank of Cap­tain (Res.).
