David Litt left the White House in 2016 as a spe­cial assis­tant to the pres­i­dent and senior pres­i­den­tial speech­writer. Described as the ​“com­ic muse for the pres­i­dent” for his work on the White House Cor­re­spon­dents’ Din­ner, David has con­tributed jokes to every humor­ous Oba­ma speech since 2009. In addi­tion to his writ­ing for the White House, David has writ­ten for The Onion, McSweeney’s Inter­net Ten­den­cy, Cos­mopoli­tan, Van­i­ty Fair, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. He lives in Wash­ing­ton, DC with his girl­friend and two goldfish.
