Dr. Rigg is a mil­i­tary his­to­ri­an, retired Marine offi­cer and author of sev­er­al acclaimed books on World War II his­to­ry: Hitler’s Jew­ish Sol­diers, Res­cued from the Reich, Lives of Hitler’s Jew­ish Sol­dier, The Rab­bi Saved by Hitler’s Sol­diers, and Flamethrow­er. He grad­u­at­ed with hon­ors from Yale major­ing in his­to­ry, Ger­man stud­ies and Eng­lish and award­ed the Hen­ry Fel­low­ship to attend Cam­bridge Uni­ver­si­ty where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D.
