Amy Unbound is the second of the five books that traces the Feldman family saga from Depression days to 2020.
Amy Feldman is 40 years old in 2008, a successful attorney, and a Jewish community activist who has been named the St. Louis Jewish Woman of Achievement. She had grown disillusioned with her marriage to Josh who has become distant, disinterested in sex, and consumed by his own business interests. Her failing marriage combined with her excitement over the election of Barack Obama encourages her to seek fulfillment in the pursuit of social justice. Amy achieves many of her goals working as a lobbyist for the Chicago Alliance for Social Justice. She also falls in love with her boss in Chicago. Her husband is stunned by these developments and is desperate to save the marriage.
Is it too late? Has Amy’s taste of success on the national stage and her love affair with her boss doomed the marriage?
