Bon­nie’s a retired aca­d­e­m­ic librar­i­an, a grad­u­ate of the Insti­tute for Chil­dren’s Lit­er­a­ture and a mem­ber of the Soci­ety for Chil­dren’s Book Writ­ers and Illus­tra­tors. She has pub­lished many non-fic­tion arti­cles and sto­ries in chil­dren’s mag­a­zines. She is an active mem­ber of the San Fran­cis­co-Bay Area sec­tion of NCJW and active mem­ber and past-pres­i­dent of her synagogue.
