Audrey Galex believes in the pow­er of sto­ry to build bridges between peo­ple. She serves as Com­mu­ni­ty Engage­ment Direc­tor for AIB Net­work (Atlanta Inter­faith Broad­cast­ers, Inc.) and also pro­duces con­tent for a vari­ety of net­work pro­grams. Audrey is pas­sion­ate about inter­faith and cross-cul­tur­al engage­ment and has been involved in sev­er­al inter­faith ini­tia­tives, includ­ing inter­faith sto­ry­telling events and Atlanta’s inter­faith speak­ers’ net­work. She’s on the board of ​“The Essen­tial The­atre,” and enjoys danc­ing and play­ing the har­mon­i­ca. She and her hus­band, jour­nal­ist Dave Schechter, have three adult chil­dren. Tur­tle Rocks is her first book.
