Arthur Magida has been top editor at Jewish Lights Publishing and The Baltimore Jewish Times, a professor at Georgetown and the University of Baltimore, and appeared on national PBS, CBS, ABC and NPR news shows. He has received 16 Simon Rockower Awards from the American Jewish Press Association; two Smolar Awards for Excellence in Jewish Journalism; and two National Mass Media Certificates from the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
