Ani­ta was born in Boston in 1936 and has been liv­ing in San Fran­cis­co since 1973. She attend­ed the Uni­ver­si­ty of Bridge­port for one year and was then mar­ried to my hus­band, Ron in 1955 – they were mar­ried for 66 great years. Ani­ta and Ron have 3 sons and 5 grand­chil­dren. Ani­ta has been involved in Jew­ish life in the Bay Area from the time she and Ron set­tled there. Some roles include: Pres­i­dent of Jew­ish Fam­i­ly and Chil­dren Ser­vices, board mem­ber of AIPAC, and board mem­ber of the San Fran­cis­co sym­pho­ny. Being Jew­ish and Israel have always been her guide­posts, as they are for her whole family.
