Jes­si­ca Fish­man moved to Israel and served in the IDF Spokesper­son Unit fol­low­ing grad­u­a­tion from Indi­ana Uni­ver­si­ty. After devel­op­ing the Aliyah Sur­vival Blog, she wrote an inti­mate, wit­ty mem­oir about the absur­di­ties and excite­ment of mak­ing a home in Israel. She was inspired to write Chutz­pah and High Heels after a life-chang­ing event in Israel to fight for Jew­ish pluralism.
