Join Jewish Book Council at the 2023 AWP Conference & Bookfair in Seattle, Washington!

In a time when Jewish” can carry so many meanings, what do we need in the way of community? What can we share to encourage and inspire each other? Despite a strong literary presence, forums for support among American Jewish writers are limited. Representatives of Jewish Book Council (Becca Kantor), Yiddish Book Center (Madeleine Cohen), Ayin Press (Tom Haviv), Lilith magazine (Alicia Ostriker), and Yetzirah, a new organization for Jewish poets (Jessica Jacobs), will explore responses to the opportunities and challenges of this moment, with a chance for audience input.
