Love and rela­tion­ships have fas­ci­nat­ed Elaine from my grow­ing up years in south­ern Africa (Zim­bab­we, Zam­bia, Lesotho and South Africa) through mar­riage and a career as a writer in New York and New Jer­sey. Elaine believes her pro­files earned he the World Press Insti­tute fel­low­ship that brought her to the US and three press awards while writ­ing for the New Jer­sey Jew­ish News. In Elaine’s fic­tion, she gets to draw from all the amaz­ing peo­ple she’s met — and from her end­less­ly patient hus­band and son.
