Sandy Sasso is known for her thoughtful books which tap into children’s natural spirituality. This beautifully written and illustrated picture book does not disappoint. The text integrates the days of creation and selected Bible stories to discuss how the light of creation and the light of the soul have been passed down through the generations.

The illustrations on each double-page spread are brightly colored, artistically designed, interpret the text and show movement. They are a treat for the eyes.

Suitable for families and children of all ages, this book is highly recommended. Parents will enjoy the discussions with children that this book will encourage and it is an excellent addition to school and synagogue libraries. If you liked Sandy Sasso’s books God’s Paint Brush and In God’s Name, you will want to add this beautiful book to your collection.
