Yigal Zur is a writer, jour­nal­ist, tele­vi­sion host, and tour guide. He resides in Jaf­fa, Israel, and trav­els exten­sive­ly. He is a grad­u­ate of Tel Aviv Uni­ver­si­ty and has had exten­sive mil­i­tary expe­ri­ence. As a tele­vi­sion jour­nal­ist, he became the only Israeli ever to be embed­ded with US Army forces dur­ing Desert Storm. Death in Shangri-La is his first Dotan Naor nov­el to be trans­lat­ed into English.
