Tara Ison’s novels include The List, A Child out of Alcatraz (a Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist) and Rockaway (one of Oprah Magazine’s “Best Books of Summer”). The recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowships and a Brandeis National Women’s Committee Award, she received her MFA from Bennington College and is Professor of Fiction at Arizona State University.
