Tal Keinan was born in Mia­mi Flori­da and stud­ied at Phillips Exeter Acad­e­my and the George­town School of For­eign Ser­vice before immi­grat­ing to Israel in 1990 and enlist­ing in the Israeli Air Force (IAF) where he served as a fight­er pilot. He is the co-founder and chair­man of Clar­i­ty Cap­i­tal, an asset-man­age­ment firm with offices in Tel Aviv and New York. He served on the Advi­so­ry Board of the Ari­av Com­mis­sion a Bank of Israel-Finance Min­istry task force on cre­at­ing a glob­al finan­cial cen­ter in Israel and is Chair­man of Koret Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment Funds, Israel’s largest small busi­ness and microlend­ing insti­tu­tion. He serves on the Boards of Direc­tors of the Stein­hardt Foun­da­tion, Hes­eg Fund, and Reut Insti­tute. He is a Young Glob­al Leader of the World Eco­nom­ic Forum. Keinan earned his BA at George­town School of For­eign Ser­vice and at Tel Aviv Uni­ver­si­ty, and his MBA at Har­vard Busi­ness School.
