Shlomo Levin received ordination from The Israeli Chief Rabbinate and Yeshivat Hamivtar, and also holds an M.A. in International Law and Human Rights from the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica. For many years he served as a Rabbi, but now he works full time as a writer and blogs about human rights issues as they pertain to Israel and the Jewish community.
