Krasikov won the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature for her collection ONEMOREYEAR, also named a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway and awarded the National Book Foundation’s ‘5 under 35’ prize. To research THEPATRIOTS, she traveled to oil fields in Texas and KGB warehouses in Moscow. She lives with her husband and children in Hastings, New York.
