Nina Beth Cardin is a com­mu­ni­ty rab­bi who works to pro­mote envi­ron­men­tal health and jus­tice. She is the Chair of the Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Sub­com­mit­tee of the Social Jus­tice Com­mis­sion of the Masorti/​Conservative move­ment and co-authored (with her hus­band, Rab­bi Avram Reis­ner) the Con­ser­v­a­tive move­men­t’s teshu­vah (legal opin­ion) on sustainability.
