Neville Frankel is an Emmy winner and author of two previous historical novels, The Third Power and Bloodlines. A native of South Africa, he immigrated to the US when he was 14. A Dartmouth graduate, he pursued doctoral work in English at the University of Toronto. Following a 30-year career in finance, Frankel now writes full-time. Frankel has three grown children and lives with his wife outside Boston.
