Mar­i­on was raised in rur­al New Jer­sey with neigh­bor­ing immi­grant rel­a­tives’ tales inspir­ing her writ­ing. She was award­ed two grad­u­ate degrees. Grant writer for Appalachia-NY State child­hood hear­ing impaired. Found­ing mem­ber of the Work­ing Writer’s Forum and Cin­e­ma Soci­ety on Mary­land’s East­ern Shore. Essays have been pub­lished and read on Flori­da pub­lic radio where she present­ly resides with her husband.
