Ellyn hails from Mass­a­chu­setts. Named Best Fic­tion Writer of the Year 2016 by the Palm Beach Book Fes­ti­val for her nov­el, Far Town. Pre­sent­ed on NPR and con­trib­u­tor to Chick­en Soup for the Soul. Her essays have been read at the Palm Beach Insti­tute for the Enter­tain­ment Arts.
