Eli Val­ley is a writer and artist whose work has been fea­tured in The New Repub­lic, The Nation, The Dai­ly Beast, The Nib, Gawk­er, and else­where. The 2011 – 2013 Artist in Res­i­dence at the For­ward news­pa­per, his art has been select­ed for the annu­al anthol­o­gy The Best Amer­i­can Comics 2017. He has giv­en mul­ti­me­dia per­for­mances fus­ing comics with per­son­al nar­ra­tive in the Unit­ed States, Europe, Africa, and Israel.
