David R. For­man was an artist and then a psy­chol­o­gy researcher and teacher, before return­ing to his ear­ly love of writ­ing. His poet­ry has been pub­lished online and in lit­er­ary jour­nals. The grand­son of Solomon Simon, For­man final­ly learned Yid­dish start­ing in his fifties. He lives in Itha­ca, NY, teach­es at Cor­nell, and cat­a­logs man­u­scripts for Cor­nell Uni­ver­si­ty Library.
