Peter E. Gor­don teach­es social the­o­ry and phi­los­o­phy at Har­vard Uni­ver­si­ty. His books include Migrants in the Pro­fane: Crit­i­cal The­o­ry and the Ques­tion of Sec­u­lar­iza­tion and A Pre­car­i­ous Hap­pi­ness: Adorno and the Sources of Nor­ma­tiv­i­ty. He lives in Cam­bridge, MA.
