Susan Simons Novich is an author/​illustrator who finds inspi­ra­tion in the tiny scraps of paper that oth­er peo­ple would like­ly throw away. The moth­er of three grown chil­dren, she has a B.A. from Sim­mons Col­lege and a cer­tifi­cate in Chil­dren’s Book Illus­tra­tion from the Rhode Island School of Design. Susan’s cut-paper art has been exhib­it­ed across the east­ern seaboard.
