Sharon Ann Mush­er is a Pro­fes­sor of His­to­ry at Stock­ton Uni­ver­si­ty. She writes and teach­es about social and cul­tur­al his­to­ry. She is the author of Demo­c­ra­t­ic Art: The New Deal’s Influ­ence on Amer­i­can Cul­ture. Sharon is also a great grand­daugh­ter of Morde­cai Kaplan and a grand­daugh­ter of Hadas­sah Kaplan Mush­er. She lives in Philadel­phia with her hus­band, daugh­ters, and dog.
