A lover of lit­er­a­ture and Jew­ish learn­ing Ray­na Sue Har­ris earned a Master’s degree in Edu­ca­tion and Hebrew Lit­er­a­ture from Hunter Col­lege. She taught Eng­lish and Hebrew in New York City Yonkers and Mia­mi high schools and Eng­lish as a sec­ond lan­guage at the Hebrew Uni­ver­si­ty of Jerusalem. A recip­i­ent of the Mun­z­er Cre­ative Writ­ing Schol­ar­ship Har­ris is a pub­lished short sto­ry writer. Bronx Heart- Jerusalem Soul is her debut novel.
